LEADERSHIP

Craig is a 41 year industry veteran in the packaging field. Prior to founding Growers Container Company in 1990, Craig spent 8 years with Cypress Packaging and Supply Corp., where he served in senior sales and operations positions. His expertise in marketing management, operational efficiencies and forming strategic partnerships has helped establish Growers Container Co. as a leader in packaging solutions on the central coast. 

He served as the 2006 Chairman of United Ag, leading the organization in addressing issues affecting the agricultural community both on the state and national level. Craig currently serves on the Board of Trustees for the United Ag Benefit Trust.

Following his service in the U.S. Navy, Craig earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Marketing from the University of Southern California Marshall School of Business. While at USC, he was a Varsity Letterman on the Rugby Team and was a member of the Sigma Chi Fraternity.

Craig and his wife Shawn have two sons, Patrick and Carter

Shawn joined the Growers Container team in 1996 to manage SC Packaging, our high tech packaging division. Currently she oversees all of our financial, accounting and human resource functions. Prior to joining Growers Container, Shawn worked in senior sales positions for Xerox and Colgate Palmolive. Her strong sales and accounting skills along with her team building abilities make her a huge asset to our company.

Shawn earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Food Science from Cal Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, CA. as well as earning an Associates Degree in Accounting from Cabrillo College in Aptos, CA

Diane joined the Growers Container team in 2016 as our Customer Service Manager. Her responsibilities include working with our customers on order initiation, scheduling and deliveries as well as inventory management. Prior to joining Growers Container, Diane held Office Manager positions at Rain for Rent as well as Tri Counties Packing Company. Diane is a native of Monterey County and through working many years in the agriculture industry, she brings a unique skill set to our company and its customers. 

After graduating from Salinas High School, Diane attended Hartnell College where she earned an Associates Degree in Business Administration. She and her husband Whitey reside in Salinas.

Luis joined Growers Container in 2012 as our Warehouse Manager. He has worked in the Salinas Valley for many years, having held senior warehousing and inventory control positions with American Cooling as well as Salyer American. Luis manages all aspects of our warehouse operations, from supervising the loading/unloading of trucks, tracking inventory and supervising our Club Store tray forming operation. He holds a current certification for Forklift trucks as well as a Class 1 truck drivers license.

Originally from Guadalajara, Mexico, Luis grew up in Gonzales, CA and is a graduate of Gonzales High School. He has 3 children-  Jezelle, Jonathon and Jonah.
